My cats and I have receiving the monthly KitNipBox subscription since February. We receive treats and toys to play with.
Err, the CATS get the treats and toys. I get the “treat ” of watching them play with the toys and gobbling up the treats. And playing with the box, of course.
And since we’ve been receiving this awesome subscription box for four months, I thought it was time to do a KitNipBox review!
Each month there is a theme city: Philadelphia, Boston, Las Vegas… And KitNip donates a portion of that month’s proceeds to a cat-friendly facility in the selected city. For example, the Boston-themed box helped support the Animal Rescue League of Boston. Note the cute Catnip “Purrty” purporting “No Purrs Without Catnip!”
Each box contains 4-5 items. Here is the first box we received. Ivan (the grey kitty) was crazy for that yellow half circle shaped toy; it has a bell and is stuffed with catnip. Both Ivan and Jasmine (a sly Siamese) loved heart-shaped The Refillable Catnip Toy.
Here’s another peek at the insides of the March KitNipBox. The Cloud9 treats were the number one hit from this box.
KitNipBoxes almost always includes something with catnip. So as soon as I set the box down and say, “KitNipBox is here,” my cats come running.
Well not really, until I bring out the treats and toys – and they smell the nip. This box is all about the nip.
The most recent (Las Vegas-themed) KitNip Box included five things: a Petlinks Zippy Snail, Catit Dental Chew Toy, Play N’Squeak Scamper Mouse, SmartyKat Loofa Chew, and PetGreens Semi-Moist Grain Free Cat Treats. And if you don’t want your cats to receive the treats, you can request “no treat/food” boxes.
There are two type of boxes offered by KitNipBox: “Happy Cat” for $19 and “Multi Cat” for $29. My two share the Happy Cat and it’s plenty for these two. They play with the toys, chomp up the treats, and -almost always- duke it out to see who gets to sit in the box. Subscribing is easy! KitNipBox is a purr-fectly awesome monthly gift for your feline family.
