Our monthly KitNipBox arrived last week, and the cats immediately started rubbing all over the thing. There was definitely catnip inside, and they knew it. Here Ivan sniffs the goods.
This month’s box has a Washington, D.C. theme; the “Meow House,” for example, is the “official residence and principal workplace of the Cat President of the Meownited States.” So clever!
And remember, some of the profits from the sale of KitNipBox goes towards supporting animal welfare organizations each month. Every box contributes to helping kitties.
Here is the description of the goodies contained in the box.
And here are the actual goodies. Mind the funky shadows; I’ll have to do a little better with pictures in the future.
First up, a handmade, all-American fish. This is stuffed with catnip, and my Jasmine loved it immediately. She’s all about the nip. And the dark chocolate.
Handmade Kitty In The City Liberty Bandana. Cute, but worthless at this house. If I try to put something like this on either of my furkids, they’ll protest. Not gonna happen.
PetSafe Twist n’ Treat. This is a clever idea and -had I bothered to follow the detailed instructions on how to introduce this to your cats- it would be awesome. They’re amused when I bat the toy around and food comes out. May have to give this another try and actually follow the instructions. Good design, lovely color. Just chalk this one up to human user error, for sure.
NaturVet Hairball Aid Plus Pumpkin Soft Chews. Man, I hate hairballs. Especially at 3am on the bed while I’m sleeping. Jasmine liked the first one, Ivan was indifferent. I’ll try feeding them at another time – perhaps not quite so close to dinner.
Overall, I love getting the KitNipBox every month. Some months everything’s a hit, others not so much. This month, two out of four are awesome, and one will work if I make a better effort. Highly recommended for kitty lovers!
